Dr. Nagesh Aghor is Director, Nephrology & Transplantation.
He has vast clinical experience of more than 25 years.
More than 2 lakhs of Hemodialysis sessions have been performed under his care as a Nephrologist.
He is the leading Transplant Physician in North Maharashtra with the largest number of Live as well as Deceased Donor kidney transplants are done under his care. There are many firsts in the field of transplantation to his credit like the first ABO Incompatible Transplant in the region, the First International kidney Transplantation (Live), First Heart Harvesting in the region under his supervision.
He has been working as a Consultant Nephrologist for the last 15 years in Nashik. He has established Nephrology Departments at Wockhardt Hospitals, Nashik during his 9 years tenure, followed by Ashoka Medicover Hospital, Nashik for 4 years. He single-handedly established the Live as well as Cadaver kidney Transplant programs in these hospitals.
After 14 years of vast experience, he along with his colleagues established Nine Pearls Hospital, a 100-bed Super specialty tertiary care hospital at the heart of the city of Nashik.
He has his Medical graduation from the prestigious Seth GSMC, KEMH, Mumbai followed by Post graduation MD in Internal Medicine from TNMC, BYL Nair Ch Hospital.
He obtained DNB and MNAMS Medicine. He did his Nephrology super specialization from internationally known MPUH Nadiad, Gujarat. He did his International fellowships – FISPD from Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. Clinical observer ship at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston USA.
